The mantra this month is a bit different. Reason being that traditionally, 9 Sanskrit mantras were used for the traditional 9 planets; the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

However along came the invention of the telescope and in 1781 Uranus was discovered, and in time so were Neptune and Pluto.

So when I was given the 9 planetary mantras to chant, I had to search for the less traditional ones for Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

This month, the chant is for Uranus, the modern ruler of the sign of Aquarius (we are in Aquarius season).
