To understand what Venus retrograde is and means, you have to understand a bit about Venus and a bit about what a retrograde is. Of course, Venus is first and foremost a planet, the second from the Sun, named for the Roman love goddess Venus Aphrodite. After the Moon, Venus is the brightest natural object in the night sky, often known as both the Morning Star and the Evening Star.
